We often try and explain the role of an advisor in the financial affairs of a client. This is sometimes a genuine effort to educate the client while some other times just a sales pitch. While both situations have their own side of justification, how many of us actually understand the actual onus that we, as financial advisors have towards helping our clients work through tricky decision making and choices? Do we truly understand the meaning of hand-holding a client through their life stages?
