A must read book on money management for women.
The modern life offers opportunities, as well as creates complexities for the women folk. While juggling many roles, the role of an efficient money manager easily takes a back seat for most women. Financial decisions are left to the men in the family, while she hustles and bustles with the daily routine. But life has its own plans. Rather than waiting for the life circumstances to force us to take responsibility of our finances, would it not be better if we women proactively educate ourselves on the money matters? If your answer is yes, please do read this book ‘Moneywise Perspectives For Women’ by Kiran Telang and Amit Trivedi.
This book takes you through the basics of money management and provides specific action points to take charge of your finances. The concepts are explained in a simple and easy to follow language. A peep into the mind of a woman reveals the personal and social traits that prevent her from becoming financially independent. Further, the book seeks to foster a positive behaviour towards money by women. It also offers insights on various life situations that she may find herself in, and the way to handle finances in each of these cases (this is my favourite part of the book). Most women will find themselves on one or more pages in the book.
While each situation that we face could be unique, and there are no easy answers, this book will serve as a guide and inspiration to many of us.

Initial observation. Subheadings se chapter interesting ho Gaye hai! Color illustration bhi mast hai! Questions section is helpful .

Complicated Financial concepts have been simplified by the authors through real life examples. The book showcases the importance of financial planning for a woman in today’s day and age.

Here is a very refreshing content on this much needed subject for Women. Very experienced authors, easy writing, good examples, thumb rules & Q&As. The book has the best of everything. A very good primer for a Women Investor to get started.
The authors knew that the trick for such a subject is not to get into lot of technical detail, as the reader would then just drop the book to ‘read later’
